A voice with purpose.
Jacinter Lumumba, RDH — registered dental hygienist, author, educator, and storyteller.
HER STORY
Bringing knowledge
closer to people.
Jacinter’s work connects dental hygiene with education, storytelling, and inspiration. Her writing makes space for both professional knowledge and the human experience of learning and care.
In Coated in Courage, she reflects on her first year of dental-hygiene education: a time of challenge, growing clinical confidence, and personal development. Her signature series, The Kingdom of the Oral Cavity, brings that educational spirit into the world of story.
Why she writes
To turn knowledge and human experiences into words that educate, encourage, and empower. To help readers feel that learning is a journey they can take.
People come first
Dentistry is about more than teeth. It is about health, confidence, prevention, healing, and the connections that make care meaningful.
